Calling all the ladies...it's Thursday 5 a 7!!
If you're looking for a good time and don't want to spend loads of money, you should check out Commission des Liqueurs. There are a few locations, but I've been to the one on St-Laurent corner Sherbrooke downtown Montreal and it's a fun place to be for a 5 a 7!
Get this: buy 1 drink and get your meal for FREE!! The only condition is that you have to reserve...you can't just show up because they have a limited number of FREE meals.
Guys...don't be feeling jealous, Commission des Liqueurs has this special on Tuesdays also for both ladies and gents!

A few rules :)
Happy Sunday to you! I want to share some of the deals that I've gotten by politely negotiating with merchants.
Rules #1:
It's very important to build rapport with the sales asociate. By doing this, it will give you maximum advantage when you will ask them later on in the conversation if they can "give you a deal". Building rapport simply means asking certain personal questions or talking on a personal level with the person. It can be "I love your hair...who's your haidresser" or "I think you served me last time I was here"...as long as what you're saying is honest, you are building rapport. Always keep smiling and be polite - treat people the way you'd want to be treated. Everyone likes a deal, so if they have the power to give you a discount, they definitely will if they find you deserve it.
Rule #2:
Almost wherever I go, I ask the key question: "What's the best price you can give me?" and believe it or not, most times I get a discount! Sometimes it's very small and sometimes it's rather big!! Don't be embarassed or afraid or rejection...the worst that can happen is that the person says no, in which case you're not worst off than not asking at all!!!
